Kim is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), CCRP, with over 20 years of career experience spent dedicated to the pursuit and implementation of high-quality standards in patient care. Her professional history reflects her commitment and active contribution to the practice of progressive medicine. While she has explored many facets within the veterinary field, her primary area of interest is in mind and body wellness. This focus led her to obtain her certification in Canine Rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee in 2010 and in 2017, complete an extensive Small Animal Medical Massage course through the Integrative Medicine and Education Center, and accomplish her Fear Free Certification.
Currently she is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, American Association of Rehabilitation (Technicians) Veterinarians, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, and the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Kim views physical rehabilitation as a critical and necessary service required to ensure an optimal standard of care in veterinary medicine.
