Dr.Kimberly Kuhn

Dr. Kimberly Kuhn graduated from the University of Missouri in May of 1989.  She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Virginia since graduation.

Dr. Kuhn has found a special interest in older/geriatric dogs and cats.  She enjoys helping them grow older gracefully and improving the quality of their lives through their silver and golden years.

Outside the office, Dr. Kuhn's interests include hiking, camping, yoga, and biking...basically anything outdoors. 

She currently has 1 canine children, Roscoe (terrier mix).  She has 1 feline child, Rooster, an orange tabby. 

Dr. Ed Faulkner was born in Virginia but has spent most of his life in North Carolina. He received his DVM degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Faulkner's interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery,dentistry, and geriatric patient care. He is a member of the Virginia VVMA and AVMA.

He has 3 pets; Annabelle a sweet 9 year old German Shepard mix, Zeppelin a crazy 2 year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever and Caroline a rambunctious 2 year old cat. Dr. Faulkner is an avid fisherman (both fresh and saltwater) with a particular interest in fly tying and fishing for trout. If he is not on a lake, pond, ocean, bay, or river somewhere, then he can be found having a glass of scotch with his friends and family.

Dr. Alex Dahlgren graduated from University of Georgia in 2006.  She practiced emergency veterinary medicine for 2 years before joining Cary Street Veterinary Hospital in June of 2008.

Dr. Dahlgren became ceritified in veterinary acupuncture through Colorado State University's program.  She has special interests in older dogs and cats, working dogs and sports medicine, and pain control and rehabilitation medicine.  She also enjoys behavior and training and has experience training search and rescue dogs. 

In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, running, swimming and camping.  She has a son, Liam, who also keeps her busy.  She also brews a strong Belgian beer. 

She has two rambunctious and acitve canine kids: Jasper, a blind Border Collie, and Leela, a yellow Lab.  They both love to hike, run, swim and camp.  She has three feline housemates, Logan, Elias and Annapurna.

Dr. Ed Taylor is the veterinarian that consults and performs advanced dental services at Cary Street Vet Hospital. 

Dr. Taylor has over 25 years of experience performing sophisticated dental procedures for pets.  He has the qualifications needed to assure you of a high standard in the care of dental problems and oral diseases.

He graduated in 1971 from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a fellow and past president of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.  He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is a Board Certified Specialist in canine and feline medicine. 

Kim Raible LVT, CCRP

Kim received her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 1997. In 2010 she

completed her certification in Canine Rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee. Her career experience is in both large and small animal medicine to include emergency, surgical, and general medicine practice settings. She has a special interest in geriatric as well as athletic and/or performance dogs.

In her free time, Kim enjoys running, playing tennis, camping, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
